University Academic Programs and Services (UAPS)
The University Academic Programs and Services (UAPS) unit of the Vice
President for Academic Affairs office serves to facilitate the
relationship between the University System and outside organizations and
agencies. The unit functions as a point of contact between these
external entities and the universities, a conduit through which information
flows between the agencies and university administration.
UAPS sets its priorities with those of the Vice President for
Academic Affairs, i.e. to advise and provide leadership in academic
programs, teaching and learning, student affairs, and public engagement.
Specifically, the mission of the UAPS units is to support the academic,
student affairs, and public service programs of the University System,
particularly in managing and coordinating University-wide programs and
projects.
